Il Calcio - a well known Italian restaurant with very good food and great atmosphere. A must visit when in Bucharest.

Alex Fratila - works for IBM in Bucharest office in Romania. After being team leader at IBM Global Services, he is now consulting on technical aspects of Tivoli software solutions. Likes Maximo. Likes diving and fast driving. Not much of a fast driving is possible on Bucharest clogged streets, though. Will get a Fratila Junior, soon :)

Tonka Soul Cafe - a nice and crowded place on Tuesday night. Serving Guinness. Sometimes not properly, though. Cheers.

Pizza Pazza - an OK pizzeria in Polus shopping center in Bratislava.

Gejza Tokar - working for IBM in Bratislava in Slovakia, scouting for Tivoli and Lotus software sales opportunities in Slovak and Hungarian Small and Medium Business market. Born and raised in Hungarian minority family in village Marcelova in Komarno district . He studied political science, wrote for Uj Szo before joining IBM. Basketball, football and big Laibach fan. Likes fantasy books and low budget horror movies: Terry Pratchett, Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman, Peter Jackson early production movies. One day he will organize events, concerts and gatherings of like minded people.

Opium, Zagreb, Croatia

Opium is a very good oriental restaurant in Branimir Centar in Zagreb. Chic interior, good food - a must see when in Zagreb.

Igor G. - working for IBM in Beograd, Serbia - Information Management Sales. Born in Novi Sad in Vojvodina. Post Graduate study at Hanken - Swedish School of Economics in Helsinki (Yes, in Helsinki!). He used to breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers and was active in kickboxing in ex-Yugoslavia. His life is full of U-turns. Maybe also J-turns and S-turns. After his dog career, he opened a pharmacy that is still run by his mother.

Julian Milanov - working for IBM in Sofia, Bulgaria - Software Technical Sales, focusing on Tivoli. Born and raised in Bankia near Sofia. Graduated in Computer Science at York University in Toronto, Canada. His parents emigrated from Bulgaria and went to Canada. He came back following his heart and after work in IT department at Bulbank he joined IBM Software Group. Avid skier and swimmer. One of his latest books was Meditation and Its Practice and About a boy is a movie he would recommend. His dream is to walk over and beside the beach to go to whatever work he would like.

Colin Johnson - is working as a contractor lecturer for Huthwaite, improving sales performance at various known companies. Lives in Stratford-upon-Avon which was not long ago actually Avon-upon-Stratford. He also worked for IBM and created a TV game show called The Ring Game. This is still his passion and one gets a feeling that there's more where that came from.

Blog milestone

It's been over a year since I decided that my blog will not be only about places (pizzerias, restaurants, bars, ...), but also and more importantly about people.
